1. Purpose and acceptance

These terms and conditions govern access to and use of the website, the online store and the services of Velvet Aura, a comprehensive aesthetic medical center located at Carrera 16A # 79-19, Unilago, Bogotá, Colombia, phone 3151281818.

By browsing the site, booking appointments, purchasing products or using any of our services, the user expressly manifests their full and unconditional acceptance of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree with them, you must refrain from using the site and from contracting our services.

Browsing the site also implies acceptance of our Privacy Policy, which forms an integral part of these terms.

2. General information

In accordance with Law 1480 of 2011 (arts. 23 to 26), Velvet Aura provides clear, truthful, sufficient and timely information about its services and products, so that the consumer can make informed decisions.

Prices are expressed in Colombian pesos (COP) and include applicable taxes. The consumer only pays the advertised price, unless additional shipping or other charges are expressly informed before completing the purchase.

3. Medical and aesthetic services

Medical, aesthetic and dermatological treatments are provided under the modality of obligation of means and not of result (Law 1480 of 2011, art. 7, inc. 2; Law 23 of 1981, arts. 15 and 16): the clinic undertakes to provide the service with due diligence, competence and professional quality.

Velvet Aura does not guarantee specific results, since the evolution of each treatment depends on the individual response of each patient, their state of health and compliance with medical indications.

Each case is individually assessed by the medical team. References to treatments, procedures or results are for informational purposes only and do not constitute a promise or guarantee of results.

Patients have the right to receive clear and sufficient information that allows them to make free and informed decisions about procedures, in accordance with Law 1751 of 2015 (article 10, literal d).

4. Appointment scheduling

Appointments are scheduled through WhatsApp 3151281818 or via the site form. The appointment is confirmed when the patient receives the confirmation from the clinic.

Punctuality is requested for attendance. Changes or cancellations must be made with at least 24 hours' notice; failure to attend without notice may result in loss of the reservation or a previously informed penalty fee.

5. Patient obligations

The patient must:

Provide truthful and complete information about their medical history, background and medications.
Inform of any relevant contraindication or health condition.
Follow the pre- and post-treatment indications given by the medical team.
Consult any doubts before accepting any procedure.

Omission of relevant information may affect the safety of the treatment and the clinic's liability regarding results.

6. Online store

Right of withdrawal

In accordance with art. 47 of Law 1480 of 2011, in distance or electronic sales the consumer has a right of withdrawal within 5 business days following delivery of the good or, in the case of services, the execution of the contract.

Exceptions to withdrawal

Withdrawal does not apply in the cases of art. 47, nums. 1 to 7 of Law 1480 of 2011, among which are:

Personal-use goods or personal hygiene items.
Customized or made-to-measure products.
Perishable goods.
Services whose provision has already begun with the consumer's agreement.
The other cases provided by law.

Returns

In electronic commerce, the refund of money will be made within a term not exceeding 15 calendar days from the exercise of withdrawal and the fulfillment of the consumer's obligations (Law 1480 of 2011, art. 47, amended by Law 2439 of 2024).

Shipping and deliveries

Delivery times and shipping costs are informed before completing the purchase. Velvet Aura will be responsible for the condition of the products at the time of delivery.

Warranties

New products have the legal warranty provided in art. 8 of Law 1480 of 2011, unless a different term is indicated.

7. Payment methods

The payment method and corresponding procedure are informed before the purchase. Transactions are processed securely through authorized platforms.

Velvet Aura does not store credit or debit card data.

8. Advertising

In accordance with arts. 29 to 33 of Law 1480 of 2011, Velvet Aura's advertising binds the advertiser and may not mislead the consumer.

Promotions and offers are governed by the time, manner and place conditions informed in each publication.

9. Intellectual property

The contents, trademarks, logos, images, texts and elements of the site are the property of Velvet Aura or their respective holders.

Their reproduction, distribution or use without the prior written authorization of their holders is prohibited.

10. Unfair clauses

Under the terms of arts. 42 and 43 of Law 1480 of 2011, clauses that limit the consumer's rights or the supplier's liability are ineffective by operation of law.

11. Applicable law and jurisdiction

These conditions are governed by the laws of the Republic of Colombia.

The Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (SIC) is the competent authority in consumer protection matters.
